Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Billing Clerk based in New Prague, Minnesota, United States. This role is situated within the government sector and provides a unique opportunity to handle administrative tasks such as producing and mailing accurate billings, updating accounts, and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support by producing and mailing accurate billings

• Update and maintain customer accounts regularly

• Handle customer service inquiries and complaints efficiently

• Follow up on past due accounts and take appropriate action

• Assist with the creation of reports as needed

• Use Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to manage and analyze data

• Utilize skills in accounts receivable and automated billing to ensure efficient operations

• Perform tasks related to billing systems and excel formulas

• Provide excellent customer service at all times. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role within the government sector

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Automated Billing processes and systems

• Demonstrated ability to work with billing systems effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with Excel Formulas

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries or complaints professionally

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing initiative and problem-solving skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work

• Familiarity with government billing procedures and regulations is a plus.
