Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems on manufacturing machinery. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within a food manufacturing environment, along with proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, industrial electrical troubleshooting (208V, 480V), mechanical repairs including pneumatics and servo motor-driven machines, and computer literacy for maintenance management software.

Shift and Pay

This is a mid-shift position (12pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday), OT as needed.

Pay range $26-$30/hr based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns.

  • Work with industrial electrical systems (208V, 480V).

  • Conduct mechanical repairs, including working with pneumatics and servo motor-driven machines.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Utilize maintenance management software for documentation and record-keeping.

Work Environment

This is a mid-shift position (12pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday). While the maintenance team does not have set hours and can be flexible if needed, the environment is extremely clean and climate-controlled. Employees must wear gowns, beard/hair nets, and rubber boots/shoe coverings. The facility features updated machinery, including a new kettle line and several recently installed machines. The maintenance team is small, and the management is very friendly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Eligible after completion of 90-day probationary period.

Vacations:

1 week - after 90 probationary period…another week after first year anniversary

2 weeks – 2nd year anniversary

2 weeks + 2 days – 3rd & 4th year anniversary

3 weeks – 5th thru 9th year anniversary

4 weeks – 10th year anniversary and up

1 Personal day will cycle in every 90 days for a total of 3.

There are 7 paid holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, & Christmas

Birthday is a floating holiday.

Bereavement leave is compensated for time off up to 3 days for immediate family

401K is offered after 1 year of employment (matching 50% up to 4% deferral)

Health insurance offered 1st of month after 60 days of employment

Life insurance is covered by Sandridge 1st of month after 60 days of employment (1X salary)
