Notice: As a safety sensitive position, compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) drug and alcohol regulations is required, including but not limited to pre-employment drug testing and background screening.

**Entergy has entered into an agreement to sell its Louisiana gas distribution business to Bernhard Capital Partners.

The sale is expected to close in approximately the third quarter of 2025.

Entergy has no planned reduction in workforce as a result of this sale, and intends to operate the business as usual prior to the sale.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Responsible for tracking meter inventory levels.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all pre/post installation in-tests are completed per regulatory guidelines.

  • Palletize meter for shipment to refurbishing vendor.

  • Badge new meter/regulator for installation. Make minor repair to meter/regulator equipment.

  • Ensure storeroom activities are conducted in a manner to maintain sufficient inventory levels. Ensure removal of stock (ROS) process is executed.

  • Monitor and track daily inventory levels. Determine the appropriate min/max levels for each inventory items. Process material receipts/transfers within 24 hours.

  • Document all activities to ensure SOX compliance, paperwork is adequate for future process improvement, and strengthen litigation/legislative/regulatory cases. Support activities to increase revenue/cost recoveries and reduce service diversion. Participate in continuous surveillance program to find and fix conflicts before they escalate.

  • Class D (CDL) or Chauffer’s license will be required within the first 6 months of employment
