Insight Global Nautical Technical Operations Manager in New Orleans, Louisiana

Job Description

One of our biggest cruise line clients is looking for a Nautical Technical Operations Manager. In this role you will serve as point of contact for all ship technical issues. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day service, troubleshooting, proactive planning, and budgeting for technical matters on assigned ships. You will also be responsible for business development, maintenance & repair operations, itinerary maintenance, budget & cost controls, and port operations. This is a permanent position on site 5x a week in New Orleans, LA.

Salary Range - 100K-135K depending on YOE

Skills and Requirements

  • Background with Operational Finance or Business Analysis

  • 1+ years experience in management consulting (supporting industrial clients/commercial shipping)

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering highly preferred

  • Sound budgeting skills to manage technical budget for assigned vessels.

  • Expert knowledge of MXP, Excel, PPT

  • Proven ability to organize and communicate effectively. null
