Air National Guard Units MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32) in New London, North Carolina

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2401000 and is part of the NC ANG, National Guard (ANG-235th ATCS / Position No. 01071849). Responsibilities As a MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST, GS-0301-09, you will plan, organize, and oversee the full complement of activities within the Group Commander's Support Staff; plan, organize and execute all Group information management and personnel activities; manage training programs for administration (3A1X1) and personnel (3S0X1) in accordance with established command guidelines; serve as the Group point of contact and liaison with the servicing Force Support Squadron on personnel and manpower actions; prepare and deliver presentations such as briefings, training sessions, and consultations with serviced Commander(s), other staff agencies and functional areas to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters and convey information; participate in special studies and projects relating to planning, coordinating, and analyzing the effectiveness/efficiency of the Group CSS in meeting Air Force Administration program goals; develop CSS consolidated resource plan for staff support to include budget, equipment, computers, supplies and required services; exercise limited supervisory personnel management responsibilities, perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted (SrA/E4 to MSgt/E7) Minimum Requirements: Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training in any position that required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures. Education You must provide transcripts documentation to support your Educational claims.
