Job Description: General Laborer
The job of the Bender is to bend steel rebar to the shape on the production tags. The Bender may perform a variety of tasks throughout their shift.
- Take bundles of steel and bend them to the shape that is on the production tags.
- Read a tape measure accurately to the quarter inch.
- Stack bars that have been bent by hand or dumped into a bin.
- Inspect bundles that are for DOT and touch up with epoxy paint if needed.
- Learn how to bend on multiple bending machines depending on the shape that is needed and how long the material is.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Comprehend basic math
- Previous Construction Trades Experience (preferred)
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
- Able to communicate with others

- Flexibility to train on first shift and switch to second shift in the near future

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
