JOB DUTIES:Positions available at NBCUniversal Media, LLC (904 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey 07632) for SAP Solutions Architect. Play a significant role in the definition and implementation of an over-arching application strategy, including architecture, design, and roadmaps. Ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering and facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. Understand NBCUniversal business processes requirements by engaging with business partners at an enterprise and division level. Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications. Design functional solutions to solve business problems and needs. Ensure agreement on design with process owners. Review and participate in solution build and test activities on SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects. Operate as solution architect simultaneously across several SAP projects that are in progress. Implement proposed solution and review work performed by other team members per established standards. Review and revise current standards to ensure best practices. Ensure architecture diagrams are current. Serve as the conduit between businesses and technology. Facilitate business requirement definition sessions. Review design recommendations to ensure quality and consistency across the footprint. Review SAP functional specifications to ensure quality solutions are proposed and not duplicating existing functionality. Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and other SAP CoE team members. Advise on solution roadmap for SAP projects while considering current footprints. Conduct comparative research and recommend strategies relating to SAP technologies. Collaborate with peers in the CoE to apply best practices to integrate between SAP applications (ERP, BW, BO and BPC). Convert new acquisitions into the SAP footprint and ensure smooth transitions. Assist in hiring SAP related resources, vendor selection, product selection, strategy related to SAP solutions. Position is fully remote and may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and at least 10 years of experience in the job offered or at least 10 years of progressive SAP hands on experience in a consultative or IT capacity, with at least 5 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user base. Stated experience must include at least 10 years of experience in the following: SAP ECC 6.0 integration across FI, CO, PS, MM, and SD; BW and SAP Security; IT/SAP project methodologies and change control processes; Project Systems Configuration and Development; Implementation of custom solutions leveraging Business Add Ins (BADI), Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Custom modifications (CMOD), and Business Transaction Event (BTE).We are offering a salary range of $169,229 per year to $195,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.If interested in this position, or if you know of qualified persons who might be interested, email resume to: Elsbeth Velasco-Fulgencio at elsbeth.velasco@nbcuni.com and indicate you are applying for the Director, Data Science (PV24SWA) opening.
