About the Role
As a Robotics Engineer, you will provide technical expertise for robotic applications to ensure product quality and continuous improvement to the manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for troubleshooting robotic systems, performing preventative and predictive maintenance on systems to minimize downtime, while keeping safety as a priority, and also provide training and technical support to Production and Skilled Trade Team members.
Your Responsibilities
Train all in house skilled trades in a variety of equipment, PM’s and methodologies
Ensure that operator safety devices function properly while programming complex robotic systems.
Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components.
Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality.
Perform electrical diagnosis, recommend repair or repair as needed.
-Troubleshoot and train others on identifying root causes of equipment failures. Ensure that line is built in accordance to all aspects of the latest version of the build standards.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to advancing robotics technology.
You should have advanced math skills with the ability to apply to cost and analyze data, analyze and troubleshoot equipment, processes, etc.
You should be able to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements.
Your preferred qualifications
Minimum Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field.
2-5 years' experience with robots and PLC control systems in a robotic welding process environment, preferably in an industrial automotive setting.
Fanuc DCS Certification required, If not certified, must gain certification within 6 months.
Experience with AutoCAD, CAD viewer programs.
Familiar with Advanced Product Quality Planning methods.
