Description We are seeking a Payroll Accountant in New Holland, Pennsylvania. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity within a dynamic team. The Payroll Accountant will be instrumental in managing financial statements, reconciling bank statements, and general ledgers, as well as handling other accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation and management of financial statements • Perform bank statement and general ledger analysis and reconciliation • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue • Record and maintain fixed assets • Undertake Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management duties as required • Conduct payroll recording and reconciliation tasks • Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies • Utilize various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Concur, and others for effective job delivery • Perform auditing and accrual accounting functions as needed • Handle other tasks assigned within the scope of the role.

• Proficient in Ceridian and Concur software

• Knowledge in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge in Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Auditing

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Relevant detail oriented certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws regarding accounting, finances, and taxation.
