Job Description

• The Accountant is a member of the India finance team to support India finance/business operations and achievement of AOP/Free Cash Flow targets and execute the mandatory compliance activities of the organization. Responsibilities will include:

• Involve in monthly/quarterly/Annual closing process & make sure of timely completion of reporting with good accuracy

• Managing India accounting activities such as sales invoice processing, credit control & cash application, supplier disbursements, inventory, fixed asset, and project cost accounting to ensure a wide range of accounting policies and practices are being adhered to and deployed to effectively and efficiently manage company assets and operations.

• Working closely with GSC to make sure all transactions are being processed in a timely & accurate manner

• US/India-GAAP compliance and financial controls including SOX, internal/external audit reviews, tax, etc.

• Supporting the preparation of India's financial cycles such as the Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts and critical guiding measurables will enable India's business to achieve business objectives, monitoring financial and business performance throughout the year.

• Additional ad-hoc projects, reporting, and analysis necessary for financial management as assigned by immediate supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Business Administration

• 3-5 years of experience, out of which a minimum of 2 years in an international

• management team environment, preferably in a matrix organization structure.

• Good US & India GAAP knowledge and accounting techniques

• Previous experience in LRP systems and analytical tools

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot table), PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
