Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief for our Newark, DE office. The ideal candidate will have experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, familiarity with automated survey instrumentation, and an understanding of construction plans and stakeout techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.

• Operate automated survey instrumentation.

• Interpret and understand construction plans and stakeout techniques.

• Utilize GPS equipment for data collection of survey information.

• Perform construction layout and topographic surveys independently.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a survey party chief/ crew chief.

• Ability to work independently.

• Proficiency with GPS equipment.

• Experience with construction layout and topographic surveys.

• Data collection of survey information.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with Topcon and Total Station equipment.

• Familiarity with land surveying and topography.

Work Environment

The role involves working independently in the field, often as a one-person crew. The position requires traveling throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania (up to an hour away) with a company vehicle provided.
