Citigroup Global Platform & Data Services – Production Testing Group Manager (TTS Operations)(Hybrid) in New Castle, Delaware

The Global Readiness PVT Program Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the global Production Verification Testing efforts for Citi’s premier online banking platform. The role is accountable for management of complex/critical/large board-based global online banking digital products and services. Leads and directs a team of professionals and vendors to meet organizational goals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within banking technology and operations and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for global digital banking product testing across geographic regions. Excellent communication and presentations skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of a platform testing. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Responsibilities:

● Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing milestones and deliverables on multiple complex projects related to technology quality control testing, production verification testing and sanity.

● Manage multiple teams or a functional area. Identify stakeholders and key organizations in order to build and manage relationships with each.

Lead and mentor a global testing professionals, including testers, analytics, and test managers. In addition, foster a collaboration and high-performance team environment.

● Direct the creation of multiple work projects and manage their alignment to business goals. Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across projects and with Senior Management.

● Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.

● Work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives. Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals.

● Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.

● Assist project team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the project can be completed.

● Ensure funding has been approved for the program.

● Ensure all areas of the program are appropriately staffed.

● Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.

Direct the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.

● Escalate program risks to senior management, when appropriate. Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.

● Exercise shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning. Evaluate subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.

● Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

● 10+ years relevant experience

Education:

● Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Day to Day Responsibilities

● Strategic Leadership of the Global Testing Team during period of period of considerable business growth and functional transformation

● Core team member in driving the design of testing components of new banking products. Ensure testing team is equipped to understand and operate post all significant process or product changes.

● Ensure E2E testing strategy of new client-facing online banking products are ready for commercialization

● Lead a program that tracks defects to end state operating model through to resolution Monitor appropriate metrics insuring overall operating efficiency, process improvements, and overall digitization goals for the business

● Manages global testing book of work, including priorities and risks.

● Deliver against opportunities for, and implement process improvements and technology enhancements for application testing

● Look to reduce expenses through effective and efficient implementations of new processes and technology

● Create, develop, and maintain business relationships: Build a network of contacts within Citi' and external organizations

● People Management: Develop specific goals & objectives for individuals and the team as a whole

● Setting and review performance objectives, goals, and target productivity and book of work expectations

● Lead the annual compensation review process and make recommendations

● Manage resource allocation and vendor management

● Budget management: Financial budget management for P&L(s) Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures to mitigate any risk or control losses

● Ensure that all projects within the department are on target, on budget, and being managed effectively

● Ensure that the team meets all audit and control requirements

● Ensure that the department is operating at peak operating efficiency and quality

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
