Controls Technician

Job Description

This position is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Technician to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of HVAC control panels for a data center. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet the environmental control requirements necessary to maintain optimal data center performance. This role involves working closely with other technicians, project managers, and engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC controls and related systems. The candidate will work on two data center projects over the next year, with the goal of building out the business/branch in that territory.

Hard Skills

• 5+ Years of Experience in HVAC Controls (Industrial or Commercial) OR Manufacturing Controls experience

• Ability to Install, Configure, troubleshoot and Maintain systems

• Familiarity with electrical wiring, circuit boards, sensors, and HVAC equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control sequences

Work Environment

This work will be performed on the construction of Amazon's new Data Center. Individuals will be expected on a massive large scale project. A lot of contractors on site. Safety is imperative.
