Job summary

This position is designed to advance the maturity of Med-Tech end-to-end Integrated Business Management processes and talent capabilities to the next level and enable improving the overall Supply Chain performance across Med-Tech.

The Med-Tech Integrated Business Management role is a strategic role to assure a standard and harmonized approach to core end-to-end Supply Chain and a select set of business processes, collaborating closely with BU’s and Regional teams as well as the Enterprise resources to drive continuous improvement within an ongoing closed loop process. There will be a critical focus on accelerating the advancement of 4 core business processes; Integrated Business Management, Long Range Portfolio Planning/ Strategic Capacity Management; Integrated Financial Management; and New Product Introduction/Life-Cycle Management processes. This role will also have accountability for core planning processes including Inventory Management, Supply Network Planning, Production Planning and Demand Planning. This leader will report to the Med-Tech Supply Chain Leader and serve as a member of the MedTech Supply Chain Central Leadership Team. This position will have direct responsibility for a group of approximately 30 people and 8 direct reports.

This position will lead:

  • The global process leads across the end-to-end supply chain processes.

  • A team in charge of developing and deploying a closed loop process focused on assessing process maturity, identifying and prioritizing gap closures, and ongoing reassessments.

  • A team driving Talent functional development across all Med-Tech Business Units & Region within select areas of focus

  • Leading planning related initiatives to improve the Med-Tech product availability in a sustainable way while reducing working capital (inventory)

  • Enabling Business Units and Region attainment of operational goals (cost savings, reduction of working capital, and service level improvements), while driving significant improvement within the key planning processes across the business units and regions

  • Leadership and execution in the evolution of standards for Planning for all of Med-Tech including maturity models, frameworks, process maps/roadmaps, process decomposition and metric standards.

  • Supporting the priority deployments across business units and regions for those standards to move Med-Tech planning capability up the maturity curve at an accelerated pace. Value Creation for each of these deployments with strong linkages to higher levels of maturity per roadmaps and program commitments

Experience and Education

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a complex Supply Chain environment, including in multiple of the following functional areas: production, planning, supply chain, quality, procurement, new products, supply chain strategy

  • Advanced understanding of end-to-end supply chain, preferably in Med-Tech Industry with advanced financial understanding.

  • Strong cross-functional experience and or partnership with Commercial and R&D.

  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, GDP practices...)

  • Track record of influencing the external environment based on knowledge of social, political, regulatory and economic issues affecting businesses domestically and globally

  • Articulating a vision, engaging and mobilizing employees around that vision, and delivering superior value

  • Driving long-term, profitable and sustainable growth in multiple functions, businesses, sectors and markets

  • AP ERP system knowledge and practical application would be assets

This position can be in Zug, Switzerland, Raritan, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ and may require an average of 20% travel
