Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Social Emotional and Character Development Online Instructor to teach courses for the Certificate in Instruction of Social-Emotional Learning and Character Development Interventions. (SEL Certificate Program: https://psych.rutgers.edu/sel/sel-certificate)
Courses run for 10 weeks or 15-18 weeks depending on the course. Requires 10-20 hours per week, depending on the course, including scheduling on-line chats in the evening to account for time zones of participants.
Salary is linked to number of students enrolled, ranging from 5-20, starting at $2,000 or $2,500 and up to 3,500.00, also depending on the course.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

A Master's degree and 15 years successful experience delivering, consulting and implementing SECD in schools is required.

Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate can demonstrate a mastery level of SECD foundations and pedagogy and practice content; has logged minimum 40 hrs of SECD Online Course Instructor Training; and is familiar with Zoom online conferencing technology.
