PMA is a two-generation program that aims to develop community residents as mentors to improve student educational outcomes and improve school-community relationships in Newark, NJ. The program trains and deploys mentors to provide academic support to primary-aged students. For the 2024-2025 academic year, mentors will read with children, practice academic activities, and provide instructional support.Parent Academy participants are professionals who will provide academic and attendance support to students at public schools in Newark. |
