Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Architect with a strong Construction Administration background who will take charge of projects as they enter the construction phase. The ideal candidate will attend construction meetings, conduct regular site visits, generate field reports, and coordinate with architects and designers. Field and construction experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Take over projects as they enter the construction phase

  • Attend construction meetings and represent the firm professionally

  • Conduct regular site visits and generate detailed field reports

  • Answer requests for information promptly and accurately

  • Process contractor payment applications efficiently

  • Review and process change orders diligently

  • Review and process shop drawings thoroughly

  • Coordinate with other architects and designers on construction projects

  • Engage with clients during construction meetings

Essential Skills

  • Field and construction experience

  • Ability to make quick decisions and speak effectively

  • Experience in construction administration with educational or public building projects

  • 7+ years of experience in construction administration

  • Ability to run projects independently

  • Degree strongly preferred

  • Licensure is a plus but not required

  • Revit and AutoCAD skills are advantageous

  • Experience with capital improvement projects

  • Desire to grow with the firm and pursue licensure if not already obtained
