Posting Summary | The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, seeks to hire a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join the Lifespan Symptom Profiles, Achievements, & Needs (LifeSPAN) Lab, led by Dr. Vanessa Bal. The LifeSPAN lab focus on advancing understanding of autism in adulthood. The postdoc will gain experience in clinical research, with specific involvement in projects to develop and refine autism diagnostic instruments and adapt mental health treatment programs for autistic individuals. The postdoc is expected to be actively engaged in writing manuscripts and grants, as well as clinical service and supervision. Specific balance of clinical and research responsibilities will depend on a candidate's previous experience and their training and career goals. At Rutgers, postdocs have access to a variety of training and scholarly activities related to ASD and related fields (e.g., clinical and research seminars, lab meetings, case conferences, advanced training for autism diagnostic assessments). Clinical supervision can be provided for individuals seeking to complete Psychology licensure requirements. |
