Posting Summary | The Kiledjian laboratory in the Dept. Cell Biology & Neuroscience at Rutgers University is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral associate to study the regulation of RNA turnover in the control of gene expression. Projects focus on uncovering novel modes of gene regulation directed through newly discovered noncanonical metabolite caps on the the 5 end of RNAs that link cellular metabolism to RNA metabolism. Other areas of investigation include the role of decapping proteins in human cognition and neurogenesis. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in the areas of post-transcriptional gene regulation, RNA metabolism and computational biology. |
