Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). Reporting to the Manager, Transactional Employee Lifecycle the Assistant Manager will supervise and resolve routine and non-routine issues that arise in the daily operations of IP&O Employee Services. This role will supervise half of the Employee Services Coordinator staff. This requires a sound understanding of applicable state and federal laws, University policies and procedures, compliance, knowledge, and application of all applicable collective negotiations agreements and IP&O Standard Operating Procedures addressing both RU Legacy and RBHS processes and practices university-wide. In cases requiring support and/or clarification, this position will rely on the Manager for Transactional Employee Lifecycle for guidance and oversight.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
