Job Responsibilities:

  • Branch Inventory - Reconcile equipment and warehouse products inventory to the balance sheet for a minimum of 10 branches and determine the related financial statement impact to the organization. Approve and process branch equipment transfer requests and rental fleet additions and deletes per company guidelines. Process all branch used equipment purchases. Record the purchase and sale of equipment in depreciation system, update asset information in the system, and process required journal entries to update book value. Track and post monthly depreciation. Verify all equipment inventory payables. Travel to branch locations to conduct physical inventory audit, assist external auditors, assess inventory processes, and maintain inventory accuracy. Prepare audit summary report for management. Assist branch personnel and tax department with inventory analysis.

  • Accounting Assignments - Perform an assortment of accounting assignments for the branches. Research complex financial transactions, impacting multiple income statement and balance sheet accounts. Perform complicated and non-repetitive daily and monthly accounting entries and account analysis. Perform multiple non-inventory account reconciliations. Research and correct daily system batch errors. Correct Surplus Returns for Accounts Receivables. Respond to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable inquiries. Assist branch personnel with financial statement inquiries.

  • Branch Commissions - Generate, compile, and distribute branch commission statements. Re-calculate commissions by evaluating and processing commission adjustments in accordance with the commission contracts. Notify payroll of commission payments to be made each month and as needed for terminated employees.

  • Miscellaneous - Assist branch personnel with order/invoicing procedural inquiries and issue resolution. Prepare schedules required by external audit. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years related experience

  • Associate Degree (Accounting or related field)

  • Microsoft Excel experience is necessary.

  • Ability to travel occasionally to branches.

  • Good communication, analytical, organizational and teamwork skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • SAP experience is beneficial.
