Akima Facility Manager (Secret Clearance Required) in New Boston, New Hampshire
Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is hiring a Facility Manager to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at New Boston Space Force Station, NH. The Facility Manager will be responsible for overall monitoring and maintenance of assigned site facilities in support of satellite remote tracking system mission capabilities. The Facility Manager is an exempt position requiring minimal oversight and requires exceptional organization skills to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities
Manage all maintenance of all facilities on station including facility upkeep, cleaning, and grounds keeping
Manage the duties and responsibilities of the Grounds and Custodial staff
Manage inventory of Government Furnished Equipment, HAZMAT and personal protective equipment
Manage the site and company safety programs including the Electro Magnetic Frequency (EMF) program and Confined Space Program
Manage site environmental and health programs for all site personnel. Prepare and submit reports for the Air Quality Emissions liaison at the host base
Manage and maintain the master key inventory for the station
Document, coordinate and prioritize facility maintenance and repair activities with various mission partners
Conduct job safety and ancillary training for site employees
Maintain the site baseline facility drawings
Conducts safety meetings with staff and active-duty personnel
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications
Must have and be able to maintain an active DoD-issued Secret security clearance
High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least five (5) years’ experience in facility maintenance, preferably with military Civil Engineering
Must be certified or credentialed to work with electrical circuits < 480 volts
Can lift up to 35 lbs
Must be able to climb high ladders and work on elevated platforms
Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English
Be familiar with National Electrical Codes and OSHA requirements
Must have detailed knowledge of HVAC systems including Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) systems, chillers, hot and cold-water circulation pumps, exhaust fans, and air handlers
Familiarity with forklift operations (spotting, driving, etc.)
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Experience with Government contracting
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Red Cross Instructor for CPR/AED/First Aid for site personnel (Highly Desired)
Experience supervising personnel schedules and activities
Possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead employees in a team environment
Must be able to perform strenuous physical work including walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, sitting, reaching overhead and pulling heavy loads
Familiarity with Air Force Safety, Health, and Environmental management processes
Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering work order processes
