Amergis Paramedic for School Athletics in New Bern, North Carolina

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $32/hour

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paramedic to support high school athletics. The ideal candidate will provide emergency medical care during sports events, ensuring the safety and well-being of our student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

Provide immediate medical attention to injured athletes during practices and games.

Assess and manage injuries, including CPR and first aid.

Coordinate with coaches, athletic trainers, and parents regarding athlete health.

Maintain accurate medical records and injury reports.

Ensure all medical equipment is up-to-date and functional.

Qualifications:

Certified Paramedic with a valid NC license.

CPR and First Aid certification.

Experience in sports medicine or working with youth preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
