As a CPI Machine Operator Sr.,you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the worlds digital technology. Day to day, you will, setup to engineering specifications various types of machines. Machine operations may include setting up, operating and programming. Responsible meeting safety, quality and productivity standards.
- Under minimal supervision, sets up, operates and programs assigned machine including loading/unloading material and changing tooling.
- Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements. Corrects any safety issues prior to performing operations.
- Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications. Resolves quality and mechanical problems, making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed.
- Prioritizes production runs to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner, while maximizing machine run time and productivity.
- Maintains machine and tooling clean and in good shape. If applicable, replaces die and punch holders as required to ensure safe machine operation.
- Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules.
May Operateforklift, as related to loading/unloading material orequipment.
