This is a position with global grade 17This position reports to Drives Service Workshop ManagerYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to repair a variety of standard drive units and subassemblies. Each day, you will ensure the best possible and most cost-effective problem resolution. You will also showcase your expertise by executing work as per first-time right approach and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Service division in the USA. You will be mainly accountable for: *Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders according to workshop processes and guidelines. *Performing workshop tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing. *Checking bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available. *Ensuring the completion, processing, and maintenance of all required documentation. Our team dynamics You will join a talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the role Associate\'s degree in electronics and two years related experience; or High school diploma and four years of related electrical experience. Must be capable of passing Electrical Competency and Authorization Program (ECAP) level 3. Prior experience working with hand and power tools Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives and the applications it supports preferred Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred Ability to read and comprehend assembly instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, and procedure manuals.
