The Quality Specialist supports the Quality Management System by ensuring compliance with regulations, recognized standards, and company processes. This position\'s primary focus is post-market surveillance data analysis, including customer feedback, complaints, and adverse events. They also initiate and drive improvements and support other key processes such as corrective and preventive actions, audits, and change management. INVESTIGATES CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS BY: Using various methods of obtaining information on a complaint, including but not limited to reviewing complaints documented by Customer Experience, researching customer history, reviewing manufacturing information, interviewing customers, and reviewing evaluation results on returned product. ENSURES REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS ARE MET BY: Understanding regulatory requirements related to complaints and adverse events in markets where the products are sold, including timeframes for investigations and reporting; drafting and maintaining procedures related to complaint handling, investigations, and reporting; reviewing complaint investigations and presenting recommendations on reporting requirements to the Global Complaint Committee or management; working with R&D to update product risk management files; and writing and submitting reports to regulatory authorities within the required timeframe.
