Confidential Stand Up Forklift Operator in New Albany, Ohio
Position: Late Shift PIT Operator
Pay: $20 per hour
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Overtime as required)
Job Summary:
The Early Shift PIT Operator is responsible for efficiently, accurately, and safely handling, transporting, loading, unloading, storing, and retrieving all incoming and outgoing raw materials, chemicals, components, and finished goods.
Essential Job Functions:
Unload incoming materials and stage them in designated areas.
Properly load outgoing finished goods onto trucks or designated transport vehicles.
Check all shipments to ensure they contain the ordered items, correct quantities, weights, measures, lots, pallets, etc.
Review and examine carrier shipping documents for accuracy, signing and delivering documents to the Supervisor.
Stage incoming chemicals in quarantine areas and in-process components to designated areas upon release by Quality Control.
Ensure all finished goods in storage are safeguarded and protected to prevent loss, deterioration, or damage.
Transport pallets to/from production or other areas as needed.
Transport finished goods pallets to wrapper machine, then to designated shipping area.
Inspect pallets to ascertain condition, returning broken/damaged pallets to vendor for credit and staging intact pallets for reuse.
Check quantities, cases, tags, and labels of finished goods from the production line.
Inspect forklift and complete safety checklist at the start of each work shift.
Perform regular internal audits of stored materials.
Prepare designated finished goods for transfer to offsite warehouse.
Consistently observe GMP, SOP, and Safety procedures.

Required Education & Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent (GED) is desirable.
One (1) to two (2) years of successful experience and/or training as a forklift operator.
Some knowledge and/or experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, or a combination thereof.
