A Project Cost Analyst is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. The role involves evaluating and revising project costs, improving efficiencies, and providing support across various departments while training and mentoring lower-level employees in project cost management and estimating.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Aid estimating staff in evaluating and understanding actual costs against estimated costs.

• Collaborate with Project Management and other parties to lead and perform project revision processes, including cost driver summaries and revised estimates.

• Assist in increasing efficiencies within project cost evaluations.

• Manage and improve information within the estimating department.

• Develop understanding of engineering, design, procurement, contracting, estimating, project management, construction, and startup procedures.

• Demonstrate strategic thinking, planning, risk assessment, and prioritization of project activities.

• Understand and contingency methods based on risk and field conditions.

Education and Experience:

Project Cost Analyst:

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience, or

• Associate's degree plus 4 years of experience in related fields.

Project Cost Analyst, Sr:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, or

• Associate's degree plus 7 years of experience in related fields.

• Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.

• Utility operations knowledge, planning, project management, project controls, and construction management.
