Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Zanesville, OH

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and develop effective repair strategies.

• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as bearings, motors, belts, and valves.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, and other automation systems.

• Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

• Document maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.

• Familiarity with electrical systems, including reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration and problem-solving.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

· Working knowledge of hydraulic pumps and systems

· Ability to work independently most of the time and with others if the project requires a team

· Ability to read and understand prints and schematics and the relationship between mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems

· Excellent attendance and reliability is a must

· Ability to direct and work closely with outside contractors and/or outsourced jobs as needed

· Prefer 2 years of solid, direct experience but not required

· Must have a valid driver license
