ManpowerGroup Construction Project Scheduler in New Albany, Ohio

Our client, large, well-respected organization within the electrical utility industry, is looking for Construction Project Schedulers to join their team at the New Albany, OH location. The Project Scheduler coordinates team activities and supports Project Managers by developing and analyzing complex project schedules with minimal supervision. This role involves planning, updating, and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and managing reporting systems and KPIs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and proficient in scheduling techniques, able to collaborate with various stakeholders including execution teams and management.

Job Title: Construction Project Scheduler Senior

Location: New Albany, OH 43054

Contract: 12-Month Contract with intention to convert to perm/FTE

Pay Range: $33-46.42/hr.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Schedule: Hybrid schedule to New Albany, OH office, Full Time, Mon-Fri 8a-5p, possibility of OT with permission.

Travel 5% would consist of an occasional day trip to a job site with a PM

Job Duties/Tasks:

  • Develop and manage fully integrated project schedules using critical path methodology, ensuring all scope and deliverables are accurately represented.

  • Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders, providing updates, analysis, and communicating potential risks to project timelines.

  • Implement and uphold project management standards and assist in ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines.

  • Perform schedule and cost integration, including SPI/CPI, and provide periodic summary reports with key metrics and KPIs.

  • Mentor and train junior schedulers while recommending and developing “What-If” scenarios to address schedule challenges.

Requirements:

*Degrees must be in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.

  • Entry Level: No experience required with a qualified Associate's or Bachelor's degree; with a High School Diploma, a minimum of two (2) years' qualified experience.

  • Associate Level: With a qualified Bachelor's degree, one (1) year of qualified experience; with a qualified Associate's degree, three (3) years' qualified experience; with a High School Diploma or GED, six (6) years' experience

  • Senior Level: Qualified Bachelor's degree, four (4) years' qualified experience required; Qualified Associate's degree, six (6) years' qualified experience. Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction or Engineering preferred. P6 experience is required at senior level.

  • Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction or Engineering

  • Working experience, includes utility specific operations processes and procedures, design, operations, planning, project management, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles, and/or construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.

  • Licenses/Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
