Transportation Pricing Assistant

Duties:

• Gather and analyze transportation cost data from various sources.

• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies.

• Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Assist in developing and implementing pricing models based on data analysis.

• Collaborate with the transportation pricing team to adjust pricing strategies in response to market changes.

• Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on profitability and competitiveness.

• Prepare regular reports on pricing trends, cost analyses, and performance metrics.

• Assist in the negotiation of transportation rates with carriers.

• Provide support for resolving pricing discrepancies and disputes.

• Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and process improvement skills are required.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a load planning role, including shipment tendering, scheduling appointments, confirming pickup, and in transit tracking.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Neenah, Wisconsin and some days remote.

This position is based in the office and will work 1st shift Monday-Friday, with some flexibility and option for a hybrid work from home/in office schedule.
