Position Overview: The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high quality product and finish product packaging, inspecting equipment, and performing preventative maintenance; completing paperwork and data entry; assisting in packaging area and cross-training on other machine operation duties keeping production area clean and orderly. This individual will be regularly communicating with other operators, quality techs, and the area supervisor to ensure the process runs smoothly. Responsibilities: Operating state of the art equipment that processes and packages beverages in both cans and bottles. Works with others to produce quality products that meet our customer\'s needs. Troubleshooting equipment and working with others to come up with ways to drive inefficiencies out of the manufacturing process. Changing over and adjusting equipment between production runs. Responsible to accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system Operating a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets of raw material. Sanitation of the plant and equipment. Assisting with performing quality checks on the products. Keep area clean and organized. Attend production meetings. Complete necessary paperwork.
