JOB REQUIREMENTS: EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERATOR - 6am - 6 pm - 2 - 2 - 3 schedule Are you asking yourself what you would really do in this role? You would Support Caregivers and Protect Patients! Job Summary This advanced manufacturing position is able to operate all cast film extrusion line and a single layer blown film extrusion line on a constant basis, consistently meeting production requirements on a continuous basis. The position ensures proper procedures are followed and work is productive, safe, and efficient. This position is capable of actively solving problems and making process improvements with limited support. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Safety Responsible for safely operating multiple machines and equipment Capable of participating on safety teams and proactively identifies hazards while offering suggestions to correct them Wears PPE as required Quality Performs quality checks and quality testing of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and be able to recognize product outside the specified tolerance Responsible for completing device history record (DHR), label verification, and daily checklist paperwork Completes required training on time Reads and understands product specifications Continuous Improvement Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area at all times according to 6S. Proactively improves processes and submits improvement ideas Productivity Powered industrial truck certified Safely performs operator duties on all blown line and cast line extrusion equipment to produce product within specification limits. Safely performs operator duties on ancillary extrusion equipment to support production in the extrusion work center. Including material delivery systems such as rail cars and silos. Completes extrusion machine preventative maintenance tasks Meets production output requirements consistently Perform other job duties as required Leadership Leads with humility, encourages individual development, and mentors other employees Successful completion of training certification Ability to train operators Capable of back-filling Extrusion Lead Operator Demonstrate and actively support TIDI Products Core Values and Guiding Principles Ability to work within and offer suggestion to improve lean management systems to drive positive change. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; * Forklift Certified * 3-5 years Extrusion experience Language Skills * Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English. * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. * Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or...
