Therapeutic Support Specialist
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Therapeutic Support Specialist! In this vital position, the Therapeutic Support Specialist provide safe, therapeutic, strength based skill development and resiliency building activities for youth and families, within the home and community.
The focus of these activities support include:
social and recreational engagement
development and maintenance of friendships
maintaining personal boundaries
stress management/relaxation/and mindfulness
daily living skills (ie: money management/use of public transportation)
secondary education/pre-vocational/career planning and preparations
strategies to prevent and address bullying of others and being bullied
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
flexible hours between 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the families
Pay Rate: $22.28/hourly

Required Skills
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Associates degree in mental health related discipline required
Minimum of 2 years experience working with youth and families
