REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * Basic computer skills * Must be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle * Follow safety procedures * Pass respirator health and fit testing * Perform under pressure work in a controlled chemical environment * Read, write and comprehend internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, logs and general company records * Perform basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills in order to process inventory, counting, time allocation, and work hours * Willing and able to work non-production hours as necessary. JOB DUTIES: * Perform analytical tasks, inspections, light assembly and packaging (vacuum sealing) parts according to process and traveler instructions. The work is performed in a clean room environment where the technician will be required to wear clean room suit. * Employee is responsible to process customer supplied parts within the department according to known processes as specified by work order traveler. Skills to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging. Possess knowledge of how parts should appear after blasting. * Responsible to process customer supplied parts within the chemical department by dipping metal machine parts into acid and caustic tanks to strip, clean and finish the parts according to known processes as specified by work order traveler. * Function well as a supportive and productive member of the team.
