Sulzer Pumps US Inc. Sr. Manager to AGM - Incoming and In process Quality Lead in Navi Mumbai, India

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing: Lead the inspection of incoming materials and components to verify compliance with Sulzer drawing, specifications and regulatory standards.
KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for incoming and in-process quality, including defect rates, inspection pass/fail rates, and customer complaints.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and address any discrepancies in the incoming materials and in process deviations. Ensure proper handling and segregation of non-conforming materials.
ISO/Quality Standards Compliance: Ensure that the incoming and in-process quality functions comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 or other applicable standards.
Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with the production head, supervisors and managers to resolve quality issues and optimize processes to reduce waste, defects, and rework.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
15+ Years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality Management in Pumps Industry
In depth technical expertise in manufacturing process, quality control and quality assurance related to Pump manufacturing.
Proven track record of managing teams, driving continuous improvement, and working cross-functionally to solve quality issues.
NDT Level II certification.
Certifications in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are preferred.
In depth knowledge and experience of supplier quality tools and techniques (LEAN, RCA, GEMBA, MSA, etc.).
