Edwards Lifesciences Sr Manager, Business Excellence (Six Sigma), BD Advanced Patient Monitoring in Nave 15, Dominican Republic

Oversee the coordination, deployment and implementation assigned Business Excellence projects/systems from conception to completion in collaboration with functional departments to successfully develop and assure implementation, definition and diffusion of objectives, strategies, actions (tactics) plans, and its execution. Support/facilitate the development of Lean Six Sigma skills and the desired Culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively lead complex Lean/Six Sigma/NPD projects/systems and workshops (e.g. Edwards production system, OpEx Maturity Index, Value Improvement Projects (VIP) program)

• Train standard Lean/Six Sigma/NPD training programs and materials for the company

• Provide input on Business Excellence (BEx) and/or Operations strategy for an assigned location, function, and/or facility and facilitate the deployment

• Lead and execute complex Lean/Six Sigma projects and systems aligned with operational needs and overarching business strategies, leveraging DMAIC and 8 Step Problem Solving methodologies.

• Lead the deployment, training, execution, and follow through of complex lean and Six Sigma programs

• Mentor, provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to Green/Black Belt candidates, coaching team members and influencing stakeholders

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in related field , 10 years years experience of hands on experience managing projects and/or programs of increasing complexity Required and

Experience in driving change within a matrixed environment Required

Master's Degree or equivalent Preferred

• Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management tools

• Excellent facilitation and time management skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Ability to work well with cross-functional and/or matrixed teams and articulately train complex and technical subject matters

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Recognized expert with specialized depth and breadth of expertise within area of work in the organization

• Expert understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to lean and/or Six Sigma

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change

• Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders

• Experience within a regulated environment

• Financial acumen

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to work in a team environment, including external representatives and participating and presenting at meetings

• Ability to lead meetings with external representatives
