Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Wilmington, NC. The role involves a variety of accounting tasks, such as account reconciliation and billing, in the finance industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient cash applications and cash collections.

Responsibilities

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records

• Process and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payment

• Manage billing procedures and resolve any discrepancies that may arise

• Implement cash applications and monitor customer accounts

• Conduct commercial collections and ensure all funds are accounted for

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and take necessary action when required

• Resolve customer inquiries related to Accounts Receivable

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure they are up to date

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing processes

• Skills in cash applications and cash collections

• Knowledge of commercial collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Experience with SAP software

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
