Naval Supply Systems Command SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy Division of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH. Responsibilities You will supervise the cataloging, , safety management, sentencing and stockpile management policy, and demilitarization team for the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy branch of NALC You will oversee the demilitarization and disposal segments of the ammunition supply chain You will review results of studies, analysis, and resulting recommending changes as required in support of the Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) program You will be responsible to standardize ammunition policies and procedures and to streamline ordnance logistics functions as they relate to ammunition stockpile management and sentencing You will act as the NAVSUP AMMO technical authority and manage execution of the Navy's Notice of Ammunition Reclassification (NAR) program Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying an extensive knowledge of ordnance acquisition logistics supply support; ammunition supply chain management policies and objectives; management principles and processes; and the effective and efficient application and utilization of appropriate supply chain optimization techniques of ordnance supply chain management functions. I have experience planning and organizing work of subordinate staff. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Assisting in the oversight of programs and policies related to ammunition supply chain management to include program management, policy and strategy development and implementation, and maintenance; 2) Analyzing ammunition supply chain program operations or substantive administrative support functions (such as budget, procurement, or personnel) in order to facilitate ammunition supply chain operations; 3) Analyzing and identifying efficiency opportunities in the execution of ammunition logistics management; and/or 4) Providing technical and administrative direction to employees with regard to ammunition supply chain management program objectives, goals, and policies.
