Naval Supply Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania
Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS Responsibilities You will complete logistics management assignments that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions. You will assist senior staff members with collecting and analyzing data. You will participate in in a variety of projects using logistics management/supply skills to help evaluate requirements and procedures. You will use Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), and other software programs to complete life cycle management activities. You will review changes to policies and procedures to ensure compatibility with departmental processes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of established logistics systems and software tools to perform research, summarize information, and provide reports. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions required to support a mission, weapons system, or program; 2) Retrieving, modifying, and analyzing data from a variety of sources and programs; 3) Determining logistics project requirements and procedures; 4) Identifying problems and recommending solutions; and 5) Providing technical guidance and assistance to customers and other employees to complete tasks, share information, and resolve issues. GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with the performance of logistics support tasks and duties. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Utilizing software tools to enter, retrieve, view, and correct data; 2) Determining project requirements and steps needed to complete tasks; and 3) Communicating with customers and other employees to share information and resolve issues.
