Naval Supply Systems Command FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST within NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS Responsibilities You will perform research, analysis, and interpretation of how new and revised financial policies impact an organization. You will conduct performance and financial reviews and validation testing. You use systems such as Navy ERP, Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV), Commercial Asset Visibility Organic Repair Module (CAVORM), Repairable Portal (RP), electronic Retrograde Management System (eRMS), and NAVSUP In-Transit Accountability (NITA). You perform Inventory Accuracy related functions such as Stock In-Transit (SIT), Intermediate Documents (IDOCs), Carcass Tracking, Billing, Supply Discrepancy Reports. You will perform DAC/ Repair Purchase Order (PO) Failed IDOC processing as well as read and interpret contract data. You will utilize financial reporting and auditing skills to analyze financial data using programs like Excel, Access and SAS. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of inventory accuracy and financial policies, procedures, and regulations. I have experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving a range of financial and inventory accuracy problems such as the development of alternative methods of reporting. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations; 2) Interpreting financial policies and practices to resolve technical and operational problems; 3) Presenting and defending inventory accuracy reports to senior leadership; 4) Establishing, monitoring, and validating financial management and inventory accuracy; and 5) Establishing, monitoring and validating financial management with Assessment Visits.
