Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in Naval Station Complex, California
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This job opportunity announcement has a first cut-off 50 applicants. Once the first 50 applicants received the announcement will automatically close. Responsibilities You will plan and perform a variety of administrative and program management functions. You will provide services such as case and records management, property management, budget-accounts tracking, timekeeping, transportation and employee travel. You will identify, compile, extract, interpret, integrate, evaluate and apply information from a wide variety of sources. You will perform management and measurement assignments, report findings, draw conclusions, and solve an array of administrative and management/program analysis problems. You will prepare and review administrative/program guidance, reports, letters, memos and forms. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support services which includes office budgeting and budget-accounts tracking, property management, arranging travel, data processing and case and records management, time and attendance issues; Providing support with report writing and submitting entries into databases; Identifying, compiling, extracting, interpreting, integrating, evaluating, and applying information from a wide variety of sources; Performing management and measurement assignments, reporting findings, drawing conclusions, and solving an array of administrative and management/program analysis problems; and Preparing administrative/program guidance, reports, letters, memos and forms, and reviewing these types of documents. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support planning and performing a variety of administrative and program management functions; and Providing administrative support to also include supporting personnel with data processing, records management, timekeeping, and transportation and travel arrangements.
