Naval Sea Systems Command LEAD MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in Naval Shipyard, Virginia
Summary You will serve as a LEAD MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the Modernization Planning Branch (313) with CARRIER PLANNING ACTIVITY. Responsibilities You will be responsible to Program Managers for Carrier Planning Activity and In-Service Aircraft Carriers, as well as to the Type Commander Ship Maintenance Program Managers, for accomplishing duties related to the Modernization Plan. You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are clearly communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and products. You will clearly communicate assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and program issues under review, along with deadlines and timeframes for completion. You will coordinate and oversee modernization input into POM budget submissions. You will lead data mining and analysis of modernization databases to address data requests from PEO Carriers, Type Commanders, Naval Shipyards, SUPSHIPs, NAVSEA, and other SYSCOMs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing or evaluating life cycle requirements, modernization strategies, or root cause analysis to identify issues for surface ships maintenance or modernization planning projects.
