U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFFICER in Naval Air Station San Diego, California

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the AVIATION SUPPORT DIVISION of the AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. Responsibilities You will direct the Aviation Support Division's work efforts and be accountable for the management and control of aviation supply support for transient and hosted aircraft squadrons onboard the station and on forward deployed carriers (CVs/CVNs). You will develop plans and conduct comprehensive review and analysis of procedures and policies. You will determine financial requirements and monitor customer expending to provide fleet readiness at the right cost. You will oversee the management (ordering, receiving, stowing issuing and replenishing) of aviation material through automated services. You will work in all areas of the aviation supply department directly affecting the availability/coordination of material support to deployed units, squadron maintenance AIMD, FRC-SW, NAVSUP and other departments and tenant commands. You will maintain supply support percentages and goals established by the Type Commander (TYCOM) and other higher authorities. You will provide direct supervision over civilian and indirect supervision over military personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and implementing new methods and techniques for an Aviation supply management program (e.g., acquisition, storage, delivery of materials, tools, and equipment) and analyzing resource requirements in order to improve supply or material support for program operation.
