U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief STUDENT CONTROL SUPPORT ASSISTANT in Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida
Summary You will serve as a Student Control Support Assistant (OA) in the Naval Air Training Command (NATRACOM) of TNG AIR WING SIX. Responsibilities You will provide administrative support to a department within the Training Air Wing or Training Squadron maintaining records, preparing correspondence and documents, and maintaining files. You will ensure that all Naval Flight Training events for Student Military Aviators has been properly documented in the Training Integrated Management System and their Aviation Training Jackets. You will utilize automated software from multiple resources in generating reports, briefing materials, maintenance, and preservation of the command Matrix database. You will coordinate all scheduling requirements as tasked by the scheduling authority in the development and execution of the daily flight schedule. You will process and execute the daily flight schedule in the Training Management System post and distribute as directed. You will be required to go on Detachment travel that may be up to three weeks in duration. You will perform a full range of admirative assignments that ensures all Naval Flight Training events have been properly documented in the Training Integrated Managements System. You will coordinate all travel arrangements, such as rental cars, lodging, flights, and maintain the receipts. You will generate entries associated with training and/or medical holds, academic, simulator and flight failures. You will assemble winging packets, create certificates and awards, designation letters, coordinate and upload winging class photo, student military aviator's biographical data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative or clerical support by utilizing office automation systems to update records or files, prepare report and maintain files for an organization.
