Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Responsible for preparing patients for various stress tests; performs late potential signal averaging (SALP) test and cardiac event monitors; prepares billing information for physicians and Cardiovascular Services; scans Holter monitors.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares patient for various stress test modalities. (30%)

  • Performs SALP and cardiac event monitor tests. (5%)

  • Composes billing information for physicians and Cardiovascular Services. (25%)

  • Scans Holter monitors. (40%)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Previous stress testing, holter monitor scanning and cardiac event monitor experience required. Arrhythmia interpretation required.

  • CPR – American Heart Association

  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree preferred.
