Mississippi Employer Cook in Natchez, Mississippi
We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a COOK
. This position will report directly to the SOUS CHEF
,
and will be responsible for:
- [Preparing food as directed by the Sous Chef to the specifications of recipes/standards]{#isPasted}
- Ability to perform related duties in any station or outlet assigned
- Fully versed in upscale cooking methods
- Ability to effectively function in fry, carving, vegetable, sauté and broiler stations
- Assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with Local, State and Federal Health department codes
- Promoting positive public relations
- Performing all other duties as assigned
- Promoting outstanding customer relations
- [Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently]{#isPasted}
Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Graduate of culinary school preferred
One (1) to Three (3) years related experience

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. Travel to Jackson, MS will be mandatory for this licensing process.
