Magnolia Bluffs Casino LLC CASINO SHIFT MANAGER in Natchez, Mississippi

Our current opening is for 

Casino Shift Manager

. This position will report directly to 

the Director of Gaming Operations,

 and will be responsible for: 

  • Be active and engaged on gaming floor to ensure all areas are properly staffed with competent personnel.
  • Observes all gaming operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and to ensure compliance with state gaming and federal regulations.
  • Maintains communication and cooperation with all shifts and departments.
  • Provides feedback to gaming departments' management in developing and evaluating department policies and procedures.
  • Ensures adherence and implementation of state and department policies and procedures by all team members in your assigned area.
  • Verifies and authorizes jackpots 
  • Deals with guests playing in an unethical or irregular manner or employees working in an unethical manner.
  • Approves and provides complimentary privileges.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with subordinates, peers and executives of the Company.
  • Coordinates all shift functions.
  • Handles complaints from subordinates and guests.
  • Acts as a customer relations representative and host for the casino.
  • Keeps General Manager informed of all pertinent information.
  • Informs surveillance and internal audit of any material shortages, misappropriation of funds, fraudulent activity (suspected or actual), and/or unethical or irregular play.
  • Assists with Management functions.
  • Assists with other departments as needed
  • Be a Team Player!

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following: 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous casino experience with a strong background in Table Games and Slot Operations. 
  • Strong management and leadership skills with previous experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and carry out multi-step instructions.
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office including, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of State Gaming Regulations. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/evening/weekend/holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain a keep active a state gaming license..

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. Travel to Jackson, MS will be mandatory for this licensing process.
