How you make a difference
The Vice President of Operations Finance is responsible for developing and implementing a full life cycle of financial strategies to support the company’s long-term objectives. This position will partner with operational leadership to drive financial performance for the division. Key responsibilities include budget, forecast, month end close, reporting functions and partner with operations team to identify and improve upon operational issues within the division.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the creation of financial forecasts, models, and reports to support client retention, new bids, and contract profitability analysis.
Analyze financial performance, monitor key metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and operational accountability.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring alignment with divisional financial plans and benchmarks.
Manage and develop a team responsible for lifecycle financial analysis of government contracts, from inception to annual reviews, while ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Partner with divisional leadership to drive financial initiatives, recommend corrective actions, and support decision-making through logical analysis and strategic insight.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
MBA in accounting, finance, or related is preferred.
Experience
10-12 years in accounting/finance experience with at least 5 years management experience
Operational finance experience required
Experience supporting multiple sites required
Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
Healthcare experience is preferred
