Amazon Transportation Analyst, ATS Fill Rate in Nashville, Tennessee

If so, Amazon’s Fill Rate team within Network Engineering & Scheduling Technology (NEST) is looking for an experienced Transportation Analyst with a strong record of achieving results, to own and build scalable solutions for a quickly growing business segment. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building new businesses, solving complex problems for our customers, and establishing end-to-end transportation scheduling processes. Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from our fulfillment centers and third-party locations. The team needs an exemplary analyst who is comfortable deriving insight using data, working with cross functional teams to launch & scale pilots and lastly have a strong bias for action.

Key job responsibilities

· Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and/or other data management systems.

· Understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results & scale programs

· Ability to scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon technology teams in order to create and enhance the software systems and tools

· Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data.

· Develop strong working relationships with various teams to test and launch pilots.

· Maintain the overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live and ramp phase.

· Excellent communication, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these finding in a review forum.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent

  • Experience using data to understand root cause of issues and improve processes to prevent recurrence

  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience communicating professionally and effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
